Starting with our deep Oval Server Basket we’ve added a reinforcing smooth wood platform to the bottom inside and two solid wood feet to the outside. For easy one-handed carrying, there are two swing handles in addition to an antique brass handle on each end. For the finishing touch, one side of the basket is adorned with a wooden red heart as shown; the other side has our Peterboro brass medallion.

As an added bonus, we’re including a set of two custom molded plastic protector inserts. They’re made from FDA-approved food-safe materials so they are ideal for serving cold or room temperature food items. The divided 7-compartment insert fits right inside the large single-compartment protector.

IDEAS FOR USAGE:

• Fill the divided sections with fresh fruit, veggies and dip, or crackers and cheese  
• Place crushed ice in large plastic protector and drop in the divided insert with perishables that need to stay chilled
• In the bathroom, keep soaps, toiletries, and small towels organized 
• Take out the plastic protectors and it’s ideal for carrying a large rectangular casserole dish
