This basket is a terrific value. The honey finish is absolutely beautiful. It is about the size of the plastic shopping baskets you would find at a grocery store except it is a little larger all around. The handles make it easy to carry. It's a nice looking basket that can hold a lot of items as it has a sturdy, practical, classic shape. It would serve well to carry books or take to the local farmers market.The size will do for a medium space, I was undecided between this and the large shopper, but am glad that I bought this size.

My sister in-law just gave my wife her IVORY SOAP basket made by your company, she received while working for P&G. My wife absolutely LOVES IT!!! Our house is FULL of Longaberger, but after seeing your line of baskets, she has already said that she is going to start collecting yours because of their beauty, size, versatility and ALL AROUND VALUE!! Yours are just as beautiful as longaberger & MUCH CHEAPER!! She'll be selling alot of her others to make room for yours. I love this basket! My beloved cat passed away and I was looking for something to keep his favorite things in. When I saw this basket I had the word "memories" engraved on the decorative bone. Now I have the most beautiful memory basket that I can keep out. (Peterboro baskets have so many different uses other then what they are labeled for).

Just received my lovely basket today. The shipment was very prompt. This basket is lovely and a nice size to put on a counter or even your desk. This stocky little basket with the petite weave just warms the heart with the character it presents. The uses are many but it has the presence to just stand on its own for a lovely decorating piece. Wow! Awesome baskets. Alot deeper than I thought. I use one for DVDs and it hold a lot and the other I let my paperwork accumulate until I have a chance to file. Great Deal and awesome basket, can be used for almost everything. Highly recommend this one!!!

This basket is very nice, I ordered two. My only complaint is that he lid does not just set on, you have to manipulate the basket a little bit. Also, they are slightly larger than I expected (could almost be used as a bread box, I used one for bagels and english muffins and the other for bills and mail that usually just lands on the kitchen island). Overall, very nice!

Love this basket. It is sized large enough to carry a lunch for a family of four and small enough that you don't have to save a huge spot for it in a packed car! When not picnicing, we store extra my son's coloring books in it!

This basket is beautifully made. There were so many choices on this site, but I am glad I chose this one. The cherry finish is lovely. The basket is a little larger than I expected and will hold lots of goodies for a picnic for 2-4 people. The "table top" is a nice feature. The careful craftmanship makes the basket look both classic and durable. I am truly so pleased with this purchase and will definitely buy from Peterboro again. Thank you for a wonderful product!

I love this File Basket. We have a file for each child's class which holds teacher newsletters and their homework. We also have a take out menu file, recipe file, school directory and lunch menu file, bills file, ect. I have a neat and tidy kitchen counter and my kids and husband can find things with out my help! The best thing is how beautiful it is on our counter. Thank you Peterboro!

I wouldn't be without this basket on my bike. I can fit a large paper grocery sack in it, filled nearly full. It carries my lock and chain, my purse, and whatever I pick up from the store or Farmer's Market to bring home. I have recommended it to a friend who was looking for a wooden style basket so her small dog could ride with her. My favorite Peterboro basket of all!

I recieved this basket in early May, and just love it. i would recommend it to anyone who loves to ride their bike and need something to carry their things. I have used it for rain ponchos in case of rain, picnic lunch, even bathroom supplies when going to the shower house while camping. It is a wonderful size and very functional.

I just replaced an 8 year old Peterboro bicycle basket with this new edition. It is wonderful! The slats are smaller and closer woven, so it will be stronger. I carry produce from the Farm Market, groceries, and all kinds of things. I wouldn't be without it on my cycling adventures.Thanks, Peterboro!

I have two of these baskets and they're great!!! I use these in the back of my van for storage. They attach perfectly to the head rest bars. I originally purchased them to go on the back of my daughters' chairs in the kitchen. They were able to keep their coloring books and crayons in the basket and take them out while we're doing homework or while I was cooking supper. I LOVE THEM!!!!

I love this basket! It was wonderful for biking to the popcorn wagon all summer. Since it is winter now, I have brought it indoors and hung it from a black metal bar (usually used for hanging pictures)and I have it right next to my computer and it "catches" all of my junk. It helps me keep my desk super tidy! And of course I love love Peterboro. Wish I could visit the factory one day.

I LOVE THIS BASKET!!! I do a lot of bike riding and it fits perfect on my handlebars. It's deep enough so that my items don't bounce out. Large enough for my visit to the Farmer's Market on Saturday's. All my fresh fruits, veggies and flowers are in good shape when I return home. This is a must have!

This is a nice little basket. Would be great to give as gifts with a serveral handmade cards, or a few crocheted/knitted washcloths and soap. Would have rate a 5 if a plastic liner was available? I like plastic liners in all my baskets as they protect the beautiful baskets. Please consider making plastic liners for all your baskets.

This is my second Doorknob Basket. I have flowers in the first one and it is on my living room door. This one I 'll use for pencils, etc. in so they are easily accessible. Don't underestimate the size of this little darling. Mine is hanging on the laundry room door which is close to the inside garage door. My husband drops his car keys and cell phone in it on his way through! Now he always know where these items are.

This basket is adorable. I got it to hold my keys and some pens, and it's just perfect for that. Do get the plastic protector, however. I didn't at first, but the bottom of the basket has gaps due to the basket's shape. Now that I have the protector, the basket itself won't get damaged, either.
