New Hampshire Chronicle Feature
Posted by Wayne Dodds on Apr 12th 2014
Baskets are more than just an item to us; they’re a tradition. Year after year the New Hampshire Chronicle features us in a video that not only shows you who we are, but also who we were and who we want to continue to be. Peterboro Basket has been hand-weaving baskets for over 150 years, handing down the tradition as needed.
We believe in doing things traditionally, so we do not plan on moving from hand made products to machine made anytime soon. One of our oldest friends at Peterboro Basket is Walter Hood. Walter worked for Peterboro Basket for years, and although he is now retired, he still continues to be an active member of the Peterboro Basket community. He brings a sense of tradition, history and family to our company. We pride ourselves in bringing generations together to work on an art form that we love and share with all of our customers.
