One of the most popular Peterboro Basket categories of all time is Peterboro Insulated Coolers. While there have been many Peterboro Cooler Baskets, only one of the Peterboro Original Kool Baskets is available for sale — this one having been displayed at the Peterboro Basket Factory for the last few decades. The basket is in remarkably good shape. The weave is complete and unbroken. The lid has some scuff marks on the hardwood top that add to its charm. A custom-made ¾"-thick styrofoam insert lines the basket, as well as being attached to the underside of the lid. The molded styrofoam is notched to fit tight together for maximum insulation.
This unique, circa-early-1980s picnic/cooler basket still has plenty of life left for tailgating, picnics or hanging out at the backyard barbecue.
The basket is 20"W X 12½"D X 11½"H. The basket is 18" H when the handles are raised for carrying.
